The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
The leaves of water lily face toward the sun on a very humid early summer day. --"Looking toward the sun" - I was walking on a trail at Brazos Bend State Park near Houston, Texas, last year in the middle of summer. It was very hot and humid. Then I looked at these water lilly leaves. They were beautiful, never being defeated by strong Texas sun :)

My photography life started when I was working for a newspaper in New York City in 2005. Back then I was very busy taking pictures of humans and their stories and had no time to visit nature scenes. So my life as a nature photographer started several years later - in the beautiful Lone Star State, Texas. In Texas, I found myself in the middle of stunning wildflower fields, woke up in the mornings hearing beautiful songs of birds, and encountered many wildlife in my backyard and parks.
