Art Steamboat selects 30 top artists in 5 states Western Region
Colorado artist Ruth Soller's oil painting Lower Falls of the Yellowstone is selected for Art Steamboat, Fine Art Competition and Sale in Steamboat Springs, CO, August 1-17, 2014. Art Steamboat showcases the works of 30 top level 2-D artists selected from a five state western region including Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. Juror Betsy Dillard Stroud will select one $10000 Grand Prize from the 30 finalists displayed in the public gala opening event on August 15. Art Steamboat is a collaborative effort of the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association, Mainstreet Steamboat and local art gallery professionals. Lower Falls of Yellowstone will be displayed from August 1-17 at the Steamboat Springs Center for Visual Arts which showcases local and regional emerging artists at its 1500 square foot gallery located at 837 Lincoln Avenue in downtown Steamboat Springs.
